Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p>\n<p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Accounting Services team. This role is located in Pune, India.</p>\n<p><strong>In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directs a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for conducting accounting services on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the financial and human resources for the unit and ensures assigned teams are operating effectively to meet unit goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Responsible for directing a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams that conduct accounting services on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients.</li>\n <li>Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy.</li>\n <li>Sets guidelines for determining the net asset value (NAV) for funds in a variety of sectors for each measurement cycle and promotes consistency across product areas.</li>\n <li>Oversees relationship management for a broad set of clients, ensuring customer service levels meet client needs and resolving any client issues.</li>\n <li>Participates in sales efforts, including RFP and RFI preparation and related presentations.</li>\n <li>Provides oversight and guidance in setting the processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements and resolves complex escalated issues from team members.</li>\n <li>Leads analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices and develops policies to ensure compliance with new regulations.</li>\n <li>Sets guidelines, policies, and priorities for the drafting of financial reports for a broad set of clients to review fund performance and communicates reports and highly complex accounting intricacies to clients.</li>\n <li>Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.</li>\n <li>Oversees relationships with senior-level auditors and clients to ensure financial reporting meets their expectations and accurately depicts fund performance.</li>\n <li>Manages multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams that do work for a broad array of clients, with work primarily accomplished through subordinate managers.</li>\n <li>Contributes to the achievement of multiple team objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.</li>\n <li>20+ years of total work experience and at least 7-8 years in management preferred.</li>\n <li>Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY Newsroom</a></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">BNY LinkedIn&nbsp;</a></p>\n<p>Here’s a few of our recent awards:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025</li>\n <li>World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025</li>\n <li>“Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>\n  Our Benefits and Rewards:</p>\n<p>BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
