They are friendly, observant, and able to determine customer needs and communicate that information to the Manager and/or Warehouse Supervisor.</p><p><br></p><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><p>· Safely operate commercial vehicles and maintain a clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.</p><p>· Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and provide detailed information to management on a daily basis related to customer service, operating discrepancies, and other administrative data.</p><p>· Maintain trucks operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairs.</p><p>· Keep delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.</p><p>· Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</p><p>· Assist with loading and unloading at other locations.</p><p>· Understand the shipping documents that are associated with each delivery and have accurate directions to each delivery destination.</p><p>· At the end of the workday, remove keys from the truck and store keys in the approved location.</p><p>· Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.</p><p>· Other warehouse duties as assigned.</p>",
