The Calibration Field Technician II will set up equipment, perform calibration on various instruments including, but not limited to, temperature, relative humidity, CO2, voltage, pressure, time, rotation, mass, etc. following documented procedures using precision standards. Calibration and preventive maintenance will be performed in-house or off-site based on business needs.</p>\n<h2>On-Site Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.</li>\n <li>90% traveling to customer sites.</li>\n <li>This position is for day shift but may require occasional off shift and/or weekend coverage to accommodate schedules and/or project timelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead on calibration projects.</li>\n <li>Perform equipment and instrumentation calibration.</li>\n <li>Proficient in specific calibration procedures.</li>\n <li>Understand interval and tolerance relating to calibration.</li>\n <li>Update the calibration database/equipment history.</li>\n <li>Report questionable calibration results to supervisor for evaluation and determination.</li>\n <li>Abide by ISO 17025 principles.</li>\n <li>Maintain good housekeeping practices.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required. Military, Technical School, or Associate’s Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.</li>\n <li>3-5 years’ experience in calibration.</li>\n <li>Experience with HPLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Form Docs.</li>\n <li>Electronic, electrical, and mechanical skills.</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong reporting skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task.</li>\n <li>Strong time management skills.</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Travel Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Offsite local travel is required weekly.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands and Work Environment</h2>\n<p>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
