This role requires a combination of clinical skills, patient interaction and administrative expertise to support our healthcare team effectively.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Telehealth and Patient Interaction:</p><ul><li>Conduct virtual patient visits, assisting with follow-ups, medication reviews, and patient education.</li><li>Document patient interactions, symptoms, and treatment plans in our systems.</li><li>Coordinate patient care, including scheduling, referrals, and provider communication</li><li>Provide excellent patient service while ensuring HIPAA compliance during telehealth sessions.</li></ul><p>Medical Billing and Admin Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Process insurance claims, patient billing and coding.</li><li>Verify patient insurance coverage and handle prior authorizations.</li><li>Assist with payment collections, billing inquiries and claim follow-ups.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with medical billing regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Education &amp; Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Experience: 1 &ndash; 3 years in a clinical or lab setting, with experience in telehealth and billing is a bonus.</li><li>Technical Skills: proficiency in EHR systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical billing software.</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking.</li><li>Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of HIPAA and insurance billing guidelines.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive rate</li><li>Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (Employer Paid Life Insurance)</li><li>Vacation time and Paid Time Off (PTO)</li></ul><p>If you have a medical assistant background with toxicology/lab expertise, telehealth experience, and billing knowledge, we invite you to apply!</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
