Let’s Make It Happen, Together.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Team players who want to do great work and find innovative ways to make animals’ lives better through our customer-centric efforts should apply.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">An amazing opportunity has arisen for a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Procurement Specialist</span>, within our Dundee manufacturing site.  The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for procurement activities across materials and services for the site and globally as directed by the Global Head of Procurement. This is not a buying/transactional supply role. This is a hybrid role, with at least 2 days onsite in Dundee.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Key Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage relationships with key suppliers of materials and services to the Auckland site and globally as directed, to negotiate most cost-effective terms for the supply of major contract items.</li>\n<li>Be accountable for procurement acticities achieving targets and objectives, ensuring consistency in systems, processes, and procedures, and on time delivery to support production plans.</li>\n<li>Support and lead as directed, global procurement initiatives to standardise material and service providers and reduce costs, including IT, Financial, Travel, Utilities, Insurance, and others.</li>\n<li>Drive Material Change Controls, Materials CAPAs, Deviation Actions as required within respective portfolio.</li>\n<li>Support the Site GM with strategy and business plans by identifying and communicating improvement opportunities.</li>\n<li>Be a key member of the Site Leadership Team.</li>\n<li>Maintain awareness of market and technology trends and make recommendations to maximise cost saving opportunities and minimise risk in procurement of direct materials and services to Argenta.</li>\n<li>Drive supplier KPIs and procurement strategy to deliver superior customer service and cost savings.</li>\n<li>Provide input and support for annual customer pricing reviews.</li>\n<li>Identifies and source new materials in support of PDS.</li>\n<li>Sets Inventory Standards (Safety Stock, Lead-times, MOQ, Order Multiples) in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain, to enable Systems automation of purchasing.</li>\n<li>Identification of supply chain risk for direct materials and leads projects to mitigate risk, such as identification and qualification of alternative suppliers.</li>\n<li>Optimises cash flow for Argenta through inventory policy (SS and LT) and payment terms that provides the right service to the business whilst minimising total inventory value.</li>\n<li>Investigate and resolves anomalies with material suppliers via Non-Conformance Reports, root cause analysis and preventative action.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educated to Bachelors level, or equivalent. Preferably in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field.</li>\n<li>Undertaking CIPS would be beneficial, but not essential. Argenta actively supports and covers of expenses of procurement training, including the CIPS qualification pathway.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Knowledge/Experience Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years procurement experience across direct material, indirect and capex spend areas. </li>\n<li>The individual has experience in Animal Health Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) to source, negotiate and execute the procurement of raw materials, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s), and chemical and biological excipients, and packaging to ensure site manufacturing and quality requirements are consistently met. </li>\n<li>Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to build positive relationships with local and overseas suppliers working towards mutually beneficial agreements. </li>\n<li>Experience in procurement across a global landscape of suppliers. </li>\n<li>Experience in procurement category management techniques. </li>\n<li>Experience in procurement technologies i.e. eSourcing, Source to Pay. </li>\n<li>An ability to identify opportunities and create value from complex supply chain (procurement) networks. </li>\n<li>Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA manufacturing regulations. </li>\n<li>Strong commercial skills and acumen. </li>\n<li>Highly collaborative, credible, with an ability to engage and influence at senior levels internally. </li>\n<li>High energy and commitment. </li>\n<li>A willingness to take accountability for procurement performance. </li>\n<li>Problem solving skills and analytical assessment abilities to make business critical decisions. </li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft applications.<br></li>\n<li>Sound time-management and organizational skills </li>\n</ul>",
