Crofton is seeking a Pile Driver to join our team. <br></span><span style=\"color: white; font-size: 3.0pt\">.</span><span style=\"color: black\"><br>The ideal Pile Driver is </span>responsible for operating machinery that hammers piles into the ground to support building foundations, bridges, piers, etc., and r<span style=\"color: #202124\">eviews building plans, ensuring pilings are installed accurately.</span><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: black\">Duties/ Responsibilities:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Operate Pile Driver to drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, foundations, structures, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Judge distance and position piling leads</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Move construction materials, earth, and other heavy materials to construction sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Clear land, dig trenches prepare worksite.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oil and service machine as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform pre-operational checks on equipment. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs other related duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: black\">Required Skills/Abilities: </span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Perform work in a marine environment.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Work from heights (pile drivers will typically be required to climb pile driving leads or work out of a manlift wearing fall protection)</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Physically, workers must be able to see well (naturally or with correction)</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Climb and/or maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Reach for handle and manipulate objects.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Rigging and signaling certification preferred</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: black\">Education and Experience:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">2-5 years of experience as a pile driver</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to acquire and maintain base access.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">HS Diploma or GED Equivalent</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: black; font-family: 'Calibri Light',sans-serif\">Physical Requirements: </span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to construction and marine site dangers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to respond quickly to sounds and handle noisy environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Able to traverse all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this may require walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.</span></li>\n</ul>",
