    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Weber Gallagher</strong> has an immediate opening for an <strong><em>Associate Attorney or Partner</em></strong> to join the General Liability/Medical Malpractice group in our Scranton, PA office.  The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of general liability, defense litigation matters.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research.</li><li>Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials.</li><li>Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines.</li><li>Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.</li><li>Ability to work on-site in Scranton, PA office.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience, preferably in general liability defense litigation. Medical malpractice experience a plus.</li><li>J.D. from an accredited law school.</li><li>PA active and good standing bar license, required.</li><li>Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated interest in liability defense.</li></ul><p>  &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Weber Gallagher is a thriving and growing firm with more than 130 legal professionals in 13 locations.
