    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Chief Engineer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Lead all general and preventative maintenance for the Hilton Garden Inn Flushing, upholding rigorous sustainability and guest satisfaction standards across the entire property.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Area Chief Engineer – Regional Director of Engineering</p>\n<h3><strong>Your Focus</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to ensure they perform in accordance with brand standards and HHM core values.</li>\n <li><strong>Financial and Vendor Oversight:</strong> Manage and coordinate bids, quotes, and contracts for 3rd party vendors.</li>\n <li><strong>Project Management:</strong> Oversee small projects or Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) and report on work progress.</li>\n <li><strong>Technical Repairs:</strong> Perform and oversee diverse tasks including sheetrock repair, painting, furniture refinishing, and the replacement of electrical and plumbing fixtures.</li>\n <li><strong>Equipment and Systems:</strong> Troubleshoot kitchen equipment and repair heating/cooling pumps.
