If you are passionate and knowledgeable about meat and seafood, then we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Job Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale.</li>\n<li>Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.</li>\n<li>Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products.</li>\n<li>Keeping records, budgets, and inventory.</li>\n<li>Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.</li>\n<li>Adhering to robust food safety and sanitation controls.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Job Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum experience of 2 years as a working butcher/meat cutter within a commercial setting.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts is essential.</li>\n<li>Ability to use tools like meat grinders, knives, saws and other tools to cut meat down into smaller portions.</li>\n<li>Ability to stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items and work in cold environments.<br></li>\n<li>Strong communication and customer service skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Work Week:</span></p>\n<p>Up to 40 hours per week, with willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours, if required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Compensation:</span></p>\n<p>$11.00 - $13.00 per hour depending on experience.<br><br></p>\n<p>Kirk Market offers its team members a company-sponsored pension plan, health insurance plan, vacation and other competitive benefits.</p>",
