All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>The Senior Construction Inspector 4 will be responsible for overseeing and performing construction inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and managing subordinate inspectors. The role requires extensive knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and industry regulations, with a focus on road and bridge construction projects.<strong>               </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Inspection and Compliance:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform construction inspection and reporting of concrete, earthwork, and asphalt pavement.</li>\n <li>Road and bridge construction inspection, material sampling and testing, and reporting.</li>\n <li>Accurately record and report daily forms per project requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervision and Team Management:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise subordinate construction inspectors and provide assistance to project management as required.</li>\n <li>Evaluate staff performance and provide input to project management staff.</li>\n <li>Identify training requirements and arrange for staff training.</li>\n <li>Supervise onsite team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Documentation and Reporting:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review reports, testing procedures, and documentation prepared by subordinate inspectors to ensure compliance with client policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting.</li>\n <li>Submit accurate time sheets, mileage, and expense reports on time each week.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Project Support and Problem Resolution:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the Project Administrator as required.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Proactively resolve problems.</li>\n <li>Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety and Standards:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review jobsite safety daily and take immediate action to document and resolve issues.</li>\n <li>Understand OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follow them at all times.</li>\n <li>Maintain all required certifications and participate in training courses as required.</li>\n <li>Understand all applicable industry standards for projects and perform all tasks per standards and client requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Availability for day and/or night work to support the contractor's schedule.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. </em> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Skills Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience</li>\n <li>Highschool/GED</li>\n <li>Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry. </li>\n <li>Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently. </li>\n <li>Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.</li>\n</ul>",
