They will also work with families and collaborate with related mental health professionals to provide an integrated team approach to the client’s care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Why work for DePaul?</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Make a positive difference in someone's life</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Supportive work environment</strong></li>\n <li><strong>We value diversity</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Opportunity for professional development and career advancement</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Excellent benefits </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Competitive wages from $80,000 - $83,120/year.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Perform occupational therapy (OT) evaluations and screenings for potential or current residents at a DePaul residential program.</li>\n<li>Develop a holistic, client-centered treatment plan to facilitate skill building that allows the client to be as independent and empowered as possible.</li>\n<li>Use evidence-based interventions with assigned clients to assist them in achieving their goals.</li>\n<li>Assemble and lead therapeutic groups that promote skill building, community integration, social participation and occupational wellness.</li>\n<li>Evaluate and adapt the client’s environments to promote their optimal level of functioning.</li>\n<li>Provide consultation and in-service trainings for DePaul staff.</li>\n<li>Complete all necessary documentation as set by the program’s policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or agency.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program, certified by the National Board for Occupational Therapy, and be licensed as an occupational therapist in the state of New York.
