This role is responsible for designing, implementing, tuning, and supporting endpoint security controls across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, ensuring endpoints are protected, monitored, and aligned to organizational security standards.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>• Deploy, configure, and maintain Carbon Black and Symantec endpoint agents across enterprise environments.</p>\n<p>• Design and implement policies, rules, and profiles to protect endpoints while minimizing business disruption.</p>\n<p>• Participate in endpoint security architecture discussions and contribute to baselines and hardening guides.</p>\n<p>• Monitor and manage alerts, detections, and events from Carbon Black and Symantec consoles.</p>\n<p>• Tune policies and signatures to reduce false positives while maintaining strong coverage.</p>\n<p>• Support agent health, troubleshooting installation issues, connectivity, and upgrade cycles.</p>\n<p>• Assist in triage, investigation, and containment of endpoint security incidents.</p>\n<p>• Collect and analyze endpoint telemetry using Carbon Black and Symantec tools.</p>\n<p>• Collaborate with SOC, IT, and engineering teams to coordinate deployments and operations.</p>\n<p>• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.</p>\n<p>• Align endpoint controls to security policies and compliance frameworks.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>• 3–5 years of experience in information security or endpoint engineering.</p>\n<p>• 2+ year hands-on experience administering VMware Carbon Black (App Control, EDR, Cloud).</p>\n<p>• 2+ year hands-on experience with Symantec endpoint products (SEP, SES, Symantec EDR).</p>\n<p>• Understanding of endpoint security concepts such as malware, exploits, and lateral movement.</p>\n<p>• Practical knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux internals.</p>\n<p>• Familiarity with SIEM/SOC workflows and alert development.</p>\n<p>• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.</p>\n<p>• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.</p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n<p>• Experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments.</p>\n<p>• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.</p>\n<p>• PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting experience.</p>\n<p>• Experience integrating endpoint tools with SIEM platforms.</p>\n<p>• Relevant certifications (Carbon Black, Symantec, Security+, CySA+, GSEC, etc.).</p>\n<p>Soft Skills &amp; Work Style</p>\n<p>• Ownership mindset and ability to follow issues through to resolution.</p>\n<p>• Detail-oriented with disciplined change management and documentation habits.</p>\n<p>• Ability to balance usability and security requirements thoughtfully.</p>\n<p>• Strong independent work capability with effective team collaboration.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Hiring Assumptions: Potential Start date - January 1, 2026</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Duration of Project - 1 year Mid Resource</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Time zone Support Hours - CST </span></p>",
