Description

Climate Systems, LLC is currently seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanical Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in the commercial HVAC and mechanical construction industry while working alongside experienced technicians and installers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Mechanical Helper, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems while supporting field teams with daily job site operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, attention to safety, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You will gain hands-on experience working with tools, materials, equipment, and mechanical systems while contributing to successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Assist with the general work activities per the direction of others to complete the assigned activities. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Ensures tools, equipment, and materials are stored properly and securely. Support the mechanic, foreman, and/or superintendent to complete assigned projects. Transports and furnishes mechanics with materials, tools, and supplies. Protect the interests and legal rights of the Company during project execution. Effectively communicate with mechanic, foreman, and/or superintendent. Demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude for others to follow. Maintain a professional appearance by wearing appropriate attire. Demonstrate support for companywide initiatives regardless of opinion. Maintain appropriate company confidentiality at all times. Protect the assets of the Company and ethically uphold the highest standards of integrity in all situations. Cultivate and promote a safety culture. Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous construction, mechanical, or HVAC experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and construction environments. Willingness to learn and follow direction from supervisors and experienced technicians. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license preferred. Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
