This team of engineers will develop the entire drive unit mechanism for the power closure system.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for product design, engineering and development of assigned programs.</li>\n <li>Leads multi-disciplined design reviews on programs assigned.</li>\n <li>Maintains BOM on assigned products.</li>\n <li>Coordinates prototype builds on assigned programs, including development of prototype build control plan.</li>\n <li>Works closely with manufacturing engineers and purchasing on component procurement.</li>\n <li>Represents Strattec in weekly Program Development Team meetings with customer.</li>\n <li>Utilizes the Strattec Program Development Process (PDP) for program implementation.</li>\n <li>Periodic travel required (~10%).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to conceptualize, plan and develop small electro-mechanical devices and mechanisms.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform strength of material and static force calculations.</li>\n <li>Must have experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).</li>\n <li>Must have experience in performing tolerance stacks.</li>\n <li>Must have experience dimensioning and applying tolerances to components and assemblies.</li>\n <li>Must have a working knowledge of GD&T principles.</li>\n <li>Must have experience with design for manufacturability/assembly (mechanisms, metal stampings, plastic injection molded parts, die cast parts, gears etc).</li>\n <li>Must have experience in working with CAE analysis team (FEA, ADAMS, Moldflow etc).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong> :</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSME is required (Mechanical Engineering).</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in product development required.</li>\n <li>Mechatronics, Mechanisms and/or Electro-mechanical system design experience is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good oral and written English language skills. </li>\n <li>Korean language is preferred.</li>\n <li>Spanish language is desirable.</li>\n <li>Strong technical writing skills are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Strattec is an equal opportunity employer.
