          "text": "<p>UL Solutions, will be installing a solar monitoring system (SMS) near <strong>Lordsburg, NM&#xa0;</strong>on behalf of one of our Client. The station is (roughly 10x10 footprint) consists of a few solar panels, tripod, and measurement equipment surrounded by a chain link fence.&#xa0; The stations will be monitoring the solar resource as well as other meteorological and weather-related parameters.</p><p>The station requires weekly maintenance, on the same day each week at approximately the same time to ensure consistent and accurate data is being collected for a minimum of 1 year.&#xa0; Your duties will include the following:</p><ol><li>Ensure all equipment is level;</li><li>Ensure all equipment is clean;</li><li>Ensure there is no debris obstructing the system (depending on site/region, grass cutting, snow removal, or clearing brush); and</li><li>Confirm the system is secure and hasn’t been tampered with.</li></ol><p>Each maintenance visit should take 15-30 minutes.&#xa0; UL requires a weekly excel logbook uploaded via internet along with photos and other documentation to support the visit which should take 30-45 minutes.&#xa0; The entire process should take between 2-4 hours each week depending on your travel time to and from site.</p><p>Occasionally, UL may request your assistance in replacing or troubleshooting equipment.&#xa0; A Senior Engineer would contact you to walk you through the process. They will support you while onsite and review data after the equipment repair. &#xa0;</p>",

Training will be provided either on site or remotely via phone or video call.</p><p>Must be able to take instruction remotely. &#xa0;</p><p>Must use own transportation to and from remote SMS location (4-wheel drive preferred.)</p><p>Willing walk, no more than ¼ mile in one direction.</p><p>Must own gas or battery-operated weedwacker should grass cutting be required.</p><p>Required to climb an 8-foot ladder (UL provided).</p><p>Capable of maintaining equipment utilizing a level, a screwdriver or other hand tools.</p><p>Must be willing to pay for shipping or other small costs from time to time to be reimbursed by UL.</p><p>Must have basic computer skills, including ability to upload attachments with their own version of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) to SharePoint with reliable internet.</p><p>A smart phone is required to take site photos as well as to communicate with UL staff while on site in an event of an emergency.</p><p>Required to treat all applicable information as confidential.</p><p><strong>Salary</strong>:</p><p>$90-$150 per visit depending on proximity to site.</p>",
