    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Engineering Technician </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Williamsport, PA</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Performs precision electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and wiring tasks for High-Voltage Power Supplies (HVPS) and related high-energy or high-reliability electronic modules. This role requires excellent fine-motor skills, steady hands, strong soldering proficiency, and the ability to work with delicate components under magnification. The individual assembles high-voltage subassemblies, adheres to contamination-control and ESD-safe practices, and supports inspection, electrical verification, and production testing activities. The position collaborates closely with engineering, production, and test teams to ensure high reliability, safety, and performance of all HVPS units.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble HVPS components including high-voltage transformers, multiplier circuits, PCB subassemblies, wiring harnesses, insulating structures, and mechanical enclosures.</li>\n <li>Perform fine-pitch soldering, high-reliability hand-soldering, and rework under microscope or magnification tools.</li>\n <li>Apply adhesives, potting compounds, and insulating materials with precision and process control.</li>\n <li>Conduct mechanical and electrical fit-up tasks requiring accuracy in alignment and placement.</li>\n <li>Follow contamination-control, ESD-control, and high-voltage safety procedures at all times.</li>\n <li>Support acceptance testing and high-voltage performance testing by preparing units, handling fixtures, and assisting test personnel.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with test technicians and engineers during troubleshooting, electrical characterization, and data collection.</li>\n <li>Identify and report solderability issues, component defects, or assembly non-conformances.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>IPC-A-610/620 and J-001-STD</li>\n <li>Experience soldering and assembling miniature or delicate electronic components.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, consistency, and safety practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with high-voltage power electronics, aerospace/defense electronics, medical electronics, or similar high-reliability assemblies.</li>\n <li>Experience working in ESD-controlled or contamination-controlled environments.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of potting, bonding, or adhesive-based assembly processes for electronic modules.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with hipot testing, insulation verification, or high-voltage safety procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
