This position involves overseeing the safe handling of guest vehicles, maintaining the valet area, managing schedules, ensuring proper guest service, and upholding the hotel&#39;s standards for guest satisfaction and safety.</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Supervise and Train Staff</strong>: Lead, coach, and mentor valet attendants to ensure they provide exceptional customer service. Oversee daily operations and ensure valet staff adhere to hotel policies and procedures.</li><li><strong>Guest Service</strong>: Ensure guests&rsquo; vehicles are parked and retrieved in a timely and professional manner. Provide excellent service to guests, answering questions, assisting with luggage, and offering directions as needed.</li><li><strong>Parking Management</strong>: Oversee the management of parking spaces, ensuring maximum efficiency in parking and retrieving vehicles. Keep track of guest vehicles and provide timely and accurate service.</li><li>&nbsp; <strong>Safety and Vehicle Care</strong>: Ensure the safe and secure handling of guest vehicles. Perform regular checks on valet staff to ensure proper handling of vehicles and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>&nbsp;<strong>Customer Satisfaction</strong>: Monitor and address guest complaints or concerns related to&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;valet services in conjunction with security dept. Strive to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues promptly</p><ul><li>&nbsp; <strong>Coordination with Other Departments</strong>: Work closely with front desk, bell services, and &nbsp; &nbsp;other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.</li><li>&nbsp; <strong>Inventory Management</strong>: Maintain proper inventory of keys, vehicle tags, and other &nbsp;equipment. Ensure that the valet area is clean, organized, and functional at all times</li><li>&nbsp; <strong>Scheduling and Payroll</strong>: Manage valet attendants&rsquo; schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels. Approve timecards and assist with payroll administration.</li><li>&nbsp; <strong>Reporting and Documentation</strong>: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, and reports on valet activity.</li><li>&nbsp;<strong>Ensure Compliance</strong>: Monitor compliance with local parking laws and regulations, as well as hotel policies regarding valet services and vehicle safety.</li></ul><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
