    "requisitionDescription": "<p><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_305aa0b1-71ad-4d40-9245-040a30e68b04.jpg\" style=\"width: 300px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\" filepath=\"/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_305aa0b1-71ad-4d40-9245-040a30e68b04.jpg\" status=\"success\" isreadonly=\"false\" requestresponseid=\"55d92b35-19a1-4974-bc5c-8a7d9d7431bc\" servertimetaken=\"1461\"></p><p><br></p><p>3rd Shift</p><p>Monday-Friday&nbsp;</p><p>10:00pm Start</p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>The Shop Supervisor manages the daily staffing and workload of shop personnel to meet performance goals. &nbsp;This position monitors repair and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with established procedures, tracks shop costs and expenses against the budget and identifies training and development opportunities for shop personnel.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ol><li>Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required.</li><li>Manage daily staffing and workload to meet shop performance goals.</li><li>Monitor repair and maintenance processes to ensure compliance with established procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Hold shop personnel accountable for completing work within the established time and quality expectations. &nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate maintenance repairs and cost.</li><li>Supervise mechanics and give timely, specific feedback on performance and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Identify training and development opportunities for shop personnel.</li><li>Conduct quality inspections to ensure proper repairs are made and units are road worthy.</li><li>Immediately report any safety violations and correcting unsafe acts or conditions.</li><li>Assist with mentoring staff, taking disciplinary actions, writing and delivering performance evaluations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Business, Logistics or related fields and at least one year of experience (the degree can be substituted with experience on a year-for-year basis, up to four years); or an industrial technician certification and at least one year of experience in heavy duty truck and trailer maintenance</li><li>Experience with hydraulic, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, engine, transmissions, HVAC and special body applications</li><li>Three years of supervisory experience in a maintenance organization or completion of technical school and at least five years of experience</li><li>Extensive mechanical background</li><li>Demonstrate solid working knowledge of service shop procedures</li><li>Demonstrate creativity and adaptability</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English</li><li>Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite &ndash; e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook</li><li>Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple facilities or work sites</li><li>Ability to work overnight, weekend or holiday shifts, as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Logistics or related field and at least one year of related truck and trailer maintenance supervisor experience</li><li>Valid Commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL)</li><li>Safe driving record for last five years</li><li>Department of Transportation (DOT) certifications for air brake systems, preventive maintenance inspection and air conditioning</li><li>Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Truck certification</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class C driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Safe driving record for three years</li></ul>\n",
