Find out more at <a href=\"https://www.slcyber.io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.slcyber.io</a>.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT THE POSITION</span><br>We are seeking an experienced senior-level Financial Accountant to join our growing international<br>finance team. This role is critical in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting,<br>compliance, and audit readiness across our global operations.<br>As a senior member of the finance team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day accounting and<br>financial reporting activities across multiple international entities while supporting consolidated<br>group reporting within a private equity-backed technology business. This is a hands-on role suited<br>to someone who enjoys both the technical and operational aspects of finance and takes pride in<br>maintaining accurate, well-controlled financial processes within a fast-paced international<br>environment.<br>The role includes responsibility for statutory reporting, tax compliance (including sales taxes, VAT<br>and GST), payroll oversight, lender reporting, audit coordination, revenue recognition, treasury<br>activities, and supporting consolidated financial reporting across entities in the US, UK, Australia<br>and other jurisdictions as the business expands. Working closely with the CFO, Finance Director,<br>and FP&amp;A Manager, you will help strengthen financial processes, support audit and investor<br>reporting requirements, and work with external advisors, auditors, lenders, and tax authorities to<br>ensure ongoing compliance across the Group.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WILL I DO?</span><br>● Own the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple international entities<br>● Prepare accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, journals, and supporting schedules<br>● Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting<br>standards, policies, and procedures<br>● Support tax compliance activities, including sales tax, VAT, GST, payroll taxes, and income<br>tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions<br>● Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to support ongoing compliance<br>requirements<br>● Support the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting<br>for the Group<br>● Own the coordination and delivery of the Group's consolidated annual audit, including<br>managing audit requirements across US, UK, and Australian entities and acting as the<br>primary finance contact for external auditors<br>● Prepare and manage lender reporting packages, covenant calculations, compliance<br>certificates, and related reporting obligations associated with financing facilities<br>● Coordinate payroll activities and ensure accurate processing, reporting, and compliance<br>across relevant jurisdictions<br>● Support investor reporting and related deliverables within a private equity-backed<br>environment<br>● Support revenue recognition processes and technical accounting reviews<br>● Support treasury, cash management, and foreign exchange activities<br>● Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and transfer pricing support activities<br>● Work closely with the CFO, Finance Director, FP&amp;A Manager, and wider finance team to<br>support international finance operations and reporting<br>● Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, systems, and reporting<br>efficiencies<br>● Support business growth initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic finance<br>projects as required<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?</span><br>● Approximately 10+ years of progressive experience within financial accounting, reporting,<br>audit, or financial control roles, including experience operating at a senior level<br>● CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification, with strong US accounting<br>and reporting experience required<br>● Able to work hours that provide significant overlap with the UK-based finance team,<br>including an 08:00 ET start if US-based<br>● Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and financial control experience<br>● Strong understanding of US GAAP, with exposure to IFRS and international or multi-entity<br>business structures preferred<br>● Experience supporting consolidated reporting, audits, and compliance activities within<br>complex or international organisation<br>● Experience with lender reporting, payroll, tax processes, and regulatory compliance<br>activities<br>● Comfortable managing detailed operational finance activities and maintaining accurate<br>financial records<br>● Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work<br>● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate<br>effectively across international teams<br>● Strong spreadsheet and financial systems skills, including experience working with ERP or<br>reporting systems<br>● Experience working within an international technology, corporate, listed, or private<br>equity-backed business would be advantageous<br>● Experience gained within a larger accounting firm or corporate finance environment would<br>be beneficial<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?</span><br>Job satisfaction; working for a company that is genuinely making people’s lives better and helping<br>to reduce the impact of internet-based crime.
