As <strong>Director Project Controls</strong>, you will play a pivotal role in shaping project delivery excellence, strengthening governance, and driving financial and operational performance across major transportation initiatives that directly contribute to Canada’s economic growth.</span></p><hr><p><span><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Lead and mentor a team of Project Controls professionals across scheduling, cost, estimating, reporting, risk management, and business systems.</span></li><li><span>Establish and implement project controls policies, processes, and procedures to ensure contract compliance, accurate reporting, and reliable forecasting.</span></li><li><span>Provide strategic advisory support on project controls approaches to enable successful delivery of major rail and transit projects.</span></li><li><span>Lead project set‑up activities from a project controls perspective in partnership with Project Managers, Vice Presidents, and Operations teams.</span></li><li><span>Deliver timely, consolidated reporting to senior leadership, highlighting risks, critical issues, trends, and corrective actions.</span></li><li><span>Own and maintain comprehensive project risk registers, including risk identification, analysis, mitigation, and reporting.</span></li><li><span>Optimize project performance across margin, staff utilization, DSO, and administrative cost efficiency.</span></li><li><span>Support contracting strategies, commercial negotiations, and pursuit activities with a strong focus on risk mitigation and value creation.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.</span></li><li><span>A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive leadership experience delivering large, complex engineering or infrastructure projects.</span></li><li><span>Proven experience representing clients at the Provincial and/or Federal level.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated history of strong financial performance, forecasting accuracy, and commercial acumen.</span></li><li><span>Experience leading projects through challenging or turnaround situations.</span></li><li><span>A reputation for integrity, sound judgment, and informed risk‑taking.</span></li><li><span>A collaborative leadership style that empowers teams, drives accountability, and fosters high performance.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></span></p><p><span>Why Choose WSP?
