For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.metalsa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span>metalsa.com</span></a></p>\n<p><b>Mission/Objective:&nbsp;</b>Seek for high efficiency on all production/assembly &nbsp;lines to increase safety, quality and productivity through the continual implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices as well as the improvement and innovation of equipment, processes and procedures.</p>\n<p><b>What does your day look like?</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Define manufacturing standards.</li>\n <li>Seek the continual improvement of manufacturing processes (productivity and profitability) by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and engineering.</li>\n <li>Track process performance (safety, quality, productivity and costs) indicators; identify problems and set countermeasures by applying Metalsa’s Problem Solving methodology to avoid recurrence.</li>\n <li>Research and develop new applications (technology) to production processes.</li>\n <li>Guarantee the processes are safe and ergonomic for the Team workers.</li>\n <li>Collaborate in the design of new assembly processes&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Lead headcount optimization</li>\n <li>Develop manufacturing processes and provide cost estimations for new business.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and/or Lead Meetings with specialty teams for troubleshooting, project implementation and engineering changes.</li>\n <li>Assist product management group on processing, quoting, implementing, launching, and maintaining engineering changes.</li>\n <li>Manage control, documentation of PFMEAs, work instructions, and assets.</li>\n <li>Comply with the internal control of its area (audit current practices and update procedures) Attend and respond to internal and external audits.</li>\n <li>Comply with Safety, Quality and Environmental Guidelines and systems that apply to the plant, process or specific areas.</li>\n <li>Comply with and supports implementation of MOS and Metalsa Model practices.</li>\n <li>Plan and manage daily, weekly, and yearly projects for production.</li>\n <li>Educate and Train organization on MOS lean principles and tools such as Standardized Work, Change Over, Just in Time, etc.</li>\n <li>Process KPI’s follow up:&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Weekly meetings</li>\n <li>KPI’s boards (OEE, PR, OA, MTBF, MTBR, JPH, Frames x people, etc.)</li>\n <li>Natural Business Teams (NBT’s) Support</li>\n <li>Ensure Plant Design Standards are Maintained</li>\n <li>Material and Information Flowcharts (Continuous Improvement)</li>\n <li>Cycle time control &amp; improvement</li>\n <li>Documentation of any changes and new settings for machines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Academic and Experience</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering) Required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>At least 4-7 yrs of Manufacturing Experience (Required)</li>\n <li>Experience in Automotive Industry (Preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Technical Skills</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Problem Solving.</li>\n <li>AutoCAD.</li>\n <li>Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).</li>\n <li>Kaizen</li>\n <li>Process Indicators (OEE)</li>\n <li>Welding Exp</li>\n <li>Project Management</li>\n <li>Lean Manufacturing</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, etc.)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the APQP process (advanced productive quality planning).</li>\n <li>Ergonomic improvements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>What is in it for YOU?&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>As part of the Metalsa team, you will benefit from great compensation and benefits package!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Vacation, Personal Time, and Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Excellent Benefits Plan!</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, prescription insurance</li>\n <li>Paid Short-Term Disability &amp; Long-Term Disability Coverage</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)</li>\n <li>401(k)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Advancement Opportunities &amp; Training Programs</li>\n</ul>",
