    "description": "<p><strong>*NEW INCREASED PAY RATES!</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Responsible for the operation of the wheelchair and alternative transport units as defined by Medshore Ambulance Service Driving Policy.&nbsp;<br />\r\nResponsible for the daily inspection and minor maintenance of the wheelchair and alternative transport units, as well as necessary equipment utilized to transport wheelchair and physically challenged individuals.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Inspects vehicle at beginning and end of shift according to established procedures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Completes appropriate vehicle checklist.</li>\r\n\t<li>Reports and relays needed repairs, etc., to supervisor.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for safe transport of patients and riders.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for a full knowledge of the vehicle&rsquo;s equipment and its proper use at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Upon arrival at destination, responsible for cleaning, restocking equipment, supplies, and placing the vehicle back in service.</li>\r\n\t<li>Does not use professional knowledge and skills in any enterprise detrimental to the Company or the public well-being.</li>\r\n\t<li>Respects and holds in confidence all information of a confidential nature obtained in the course of professional work unless required by law to divulge such information.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for upholding company standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adheres to standards of personal ethics, on and off duty, which reflect credit upon the profession.</li>\r\n\t<li>Protects the public by not delegating to persons less qualified, any service which requires the professional competence of a Medical Transport Technician.</li>\r\n\t<li>Refuses to participate in unethical procedures and assumes the responsibility to expose incompetence or unethical conduct of other to the appropriate authority in a proper and professional manner.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs other duties as required by a supervisor.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
