As a rapidly growing organization operating on the cutting edge of science, we offer exceptional career growth and professional development opportunities, supported by world-class facilities and a competitive benefits package.</p>\n<h2>Position</h2>\n<p>The AI Application Development Intern is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying internal software tools and applications leveraging artificial intelligence and automation technologies. This role focuses on translating defined business requirements into functional applications that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision making, and support scalable digital solutions across the organization</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working in close collaboration with Process Excellence teams, the intern will rapidly build practical, production-ready tools, validate performance against defined use cases, and support deployment into real-world environments. The role requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset in a fast-paced and evolving technical landscape.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>1. Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled applications and tools based on defined requirements.</p>\n<p>2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and iterate solutions, resolving bugs, issues, and improving features</p>\n<p>3. Evaluate and deploy new and improved AI development tools and workflows</p>\n<p>4. Deploy applications and support adoption across teams</p>\n<p>5. Test, debug, and validate applications for reliability and performance.  Coordinate with validation teams and support software validation practices as required</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Junior+ strongly preferred)</li>\n <li>Basic programming skills (Python or similar) and familiarity with core development fundamentals (coding, Git, testing basics)</li>\n <li>Applied experience using AI/ML tools, APIs, or automation in a project setting</li>\n <li>Completion of at least one hands-on project involving AI, automation, or data processing (coursework projects acceptable)</li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems, debug issues, and work from defined requirements</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications (not just models)</li>\n <li>Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI orchestration tools</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or similar technologies</li>\n <li>Exposure to regulated or quality-controlled environments</li>\n <li>Demonstrated interest in process improvement and operational efficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Please note the company cannot provide immigration-related sponsorship (including H-1B status, O-1 status, Optional Practical Training support, etc.) for this position. Conditions may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to varying temperatures, both indoors (heated/air-conditioned spaces) and outdoors</li>\n <li>Noise levels range from quiet to loud, depending on the work area</li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities, including near vision, visual acuity, and color discrimination</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</strong> is required and may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and full protective clothing</li>\n <li>Compliance with cleanroom gowning protocols (e.g., removal of all jewelry, including piercings)</li>\n <li>Prohibition of cosmetics, fragrances (perfume, aftershave), and nail products, including polish, artificial nails, or extensions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a <strong>radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site</strong>, radiation may be present in the laboratory and production areas.
