Conducting thorough visual and instrumented inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify adherence to quality standards and specification requirements
Executing testing, sorting, sampling, and weighing activities to validate product consistency and operational performance
Maintaining accurate and detailed logs of inspection results and quality metrics to support audit readiness and continuous improvement efforts
Communicating findings and working with quality assurance teams to recommend and implement corrective actions to address quality discrepancies
Assisting in the development and refinement of standard operating procedures for inspection and testing processes to enhance overall production quality
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements
Five or more years of experience in an inspector, tester, sorter, sampler, or weigher role
One or more years of experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Demonstrated proficiency in executing detailed inspection, testing, sorting, sampling, and weighing procedures in accordance with contractual and DoD requirements
Proficient in utilizing precision measurement tools and instruments, such as digital micrometers, calipers, gauges, and scales, to verify material and product compliance with defined specifications
Skilled in documenting quality control data and maintaining meticulous records to support process validation and regulatory compliance
Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
Familiarity with quality management systems and industrial statistical process control to support continuous improvement initiatives
Proficient in using computer-based data recording systems and software to enhance efficiency in quality tracking and reporting
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to troubleshoot defects and streamline inspection processes
Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality findings and coordinate corrective actions with production and engineering teams
