We foster a supportive, team-oriented environment where your skills grow, your hard work is valued, and your contributions truly make a difference.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Pre-Drill and Tray Builder has the responsibility of drilling screw holes to pattern and building shelf dividers. This position will also be responsible for drilling rub rails, federates, door pins, door panels, stone guards, rear kick plates, training of employees, along with helping other departmental employees, adhering to production schedule while maintaining a quality product.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position requires frequent interaction with a variety of significant internal and external customers and is an active member of the Life Line Emergency Vehicle Team.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have mechanical background to include power and/or air tools</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have ability to run or learn to run plasma cutter, shear, notched, saws, drills and presses</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to solve problems and make decisions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to inspect finished products during manufacturing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to apply quality assurance techniques</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must meet or exceed cost reduction goals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have ability to understand manufacturing methods and techniques&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledgeable of Life Line product and materials needed for production</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with Engineering staff</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess ability to meet deadlines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with and assist production personnel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work closely with parts department on items needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have good mathematical skills&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>High school diploma or technical training in related field or equivalent experience</li><li>Self-starter with good work discipline</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail</li><li>Team player</li><li>Results orientated</li><li>Motivated&nbsp;</li><li>Desire to obtain additional personal developmental training</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul><li>Previous mechanical experience and Life Line product knowledge a plus</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Exposure to welding fumes, sparks, noise, and heavy components</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">PPE required</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to stand, walk, grip, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, move and carry</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to use your senses of sight, touch, sound and smell</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Contingencies of Employment</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Successful completion of a pre-employed drug screen and physical examination&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to the position</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Life Line is an equal opportunity employer.
