You take initiative, communicate effectively, and thrive in a team environment where you can balance technical design with hands-on project delivery. </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">A typical day on the job might look like:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting all GEMTEC locations across Atlantic Canada, including travelling as needed.</li>\n<li>Preparing engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents. </li>\n<li>Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.  </li>\n<li>Reviewing drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance and constructability. </li>\n<li>Supporting construction administration activities, including site inspections and responding to contractor’s inquiries.  </li>\n<li>Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans. </li>\n<li>Communicating with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.  </li>\n<li>Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff as needed.  </li>\n<li>Office-based design/project management with Site Visits to projects as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The good stuff you get:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time (37.5 hours per week)</li>\n<li>Complete health &amp; dental coverage including vision, paramedical services, and Teladoc</li>\n<li>Retirement planning made easier with a 5% employer match on your contributions</li>\n<li>Paid time off (vacation and sick days) plus Employee &amp; Family Assistance Program when you need it</li>\n<li>Office year-end closure (paid time off between Christmas and the New Year)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your background and what you bring: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered or eligible for registration with APEGNB. </li>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited University.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, including municipal and infrastructure design. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Proven experience in project management, including budget, schedule, and client coordination.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Bilingual in French and English.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interested individuals, click here to apply: <a href=\"https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/295\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://gemtec.bamboohr.com/careers/295</a> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Thank you for taking the time to consider GEMTEC.
