(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc., consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both firms in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team. LiRo-Hill is a 1,100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role represents a unique opportunity to <strong>help shape and grow LiRo-Hill’s presence in New England</strong>, with a focus on <strong>public sector infrastructure and municipal clients</strong>, while collaborating with a deep, multidisciplinary bench across the region.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven civil/structural engineer with a background in transportation, bridge, and/or municipal infrastructure projects to lead our New England growth initiatives from our Newton office.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a seller-doer leadership role focused on:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Building and maintaining client relationships with agencies such as MassDOT, MBTA, and local municipalities</li>\n <li>Supporting and growing infrastructure-related opportunities</li>\n <li>Serving as a local presence and client-facing leader, while leveraging LiRo-Hill’s broader technical resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial mindset, strong local connections, and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, multi-office delivery environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with public sector clients, including MassDOT, MBTA, and municipal agencies</li>\n <li>Support and lead business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client engagement, and industry involvement</li>\n <li>Serve as a local technical and project leader for infrastructure and structural assignments, including bridges, transportation systems, and related facilities</li>\n <li>Coordinate with internal teams across NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey to deliver high-quality engineering services</li>\n <li>Manage projects including scope, schedule, budget, and client communication</li>\n <li>Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for structural and civil engineering deliverables</li>\n <li>Support multidisciplinary coordination with architecture, MEP, and site/civil teams in the region</li>\n <li>Mentor and help grow local staff as the New England team expands</li>\n <li>Represent the firm at industry events, professional organizations, and client meetings</li>\n <li>Assist in shaping the strategic direction of LiRo-Hill’s New England infrastructure and structures presence</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)</li>\n <li>15+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a focus on transportation and/or municipal infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts, additional New England licensures preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working with MassDOT, MBTA, and/or local municipalities</li>\n <li>Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development efforts</li>\n <li>Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of structural systems related to bridges and infrastructure, with working knowledge of building structures and/or site civil systems</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-office environment and leverage remote technical resources</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Join LiRo-Hill in New England?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunity to play a key role in shaping and growing a regional presence</li>\n <li>Backed by a deep bench of technical experts and resources across the Northeast</li>\n <li>Exposure to a wide range of public sector infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects</li>\n <li>Collaborative environment with architecture, MEP, civil, and structural teams</li>\n <li>Strong company reputation and long-standing client relationships in the public sector</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Total Compensation Package</li>\n <li>Employee- Only Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Mentoring programs</li>\n <li>Continuing Education Program</li>\n <li>Employee referral bonus</li>\n <li>Volunteer/Industry association opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
