    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a Senior Principal Highway Engineer for our Atlanta, GA office!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you are an experienced engineer interested in growing your skills and working on exciting projects, then this is a great opportunity for you. As the Senior Principal Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for roadway/highway analysis and design, specifications, reports, and estimates efforts on conventional and general engineering consultant and/or design-build projects for GDOT, county and municipal clients. Additional responsibilities include monitoring labor budgets and schedules for assigned tasks/projects; coordinating with discipline key task leaders and staff to ensure ongoing communications; meeting project deliverable schedules and budgets for assigned projects; and supporting marketing and business development initiatives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience </li>\n <li>Georgia PE licensure</li>\n <li>Proven experience leading and/or providing technical guidance to entry/junior-level staff. This includes proven experience reviewing others' work for technical accuracy </li>\n <li>Proven experience participating in the design and implementation of new services, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that had great impact on the achievement of functional results</li>\n <li>Proficient in construction document production</li>\n <li>Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
