You will:</p><ul><li>Observe safety guidelines in transporting supplies, specimens and equipment.</li><li>Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when assisting in patient care.</li><li>Take appropriate steps in maintaining equipment including those used for patient transport.</li><li>Report observations and outcomes of activities performed.</li><li>Reduce the risk of patient harm resulting from falls -observes patient for risk of falling and takes action to prevent patient falls.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of normal growth and development in patient population.</li><li>Improve the accuracy of patient identification - uses two identifiers when transporting patient between units/departments.</li><li>Reduce the risk of health care acquired infection by following current CDC hand washing guidelines and CSMC isolation policy</li></ul>",
