Pay increases quickly with each year of experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumber’s license. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Applicants with flexible schedules, including availability for evenings and weekends, are especially encouraged to apply.</strong> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Roto-Rooter drain service technicians use their skills to provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.</li>\n <li>A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing cost estimates to close the sale.</li>\n <li>Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.</li>\n <li>Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.</li>\n <li>Collect payment and move on to the next service call. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills.</li>\n <li>A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.</li>\n <li>Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Roto-Rooter, we believe our most significant investment is in our employees.
