    "description_html": "<p>Part Time or Per Diem- 10-20 hours per week</p><p><br></p><p>The Nurse Practitioner will be available to meet the medical assessment and treatment needs of each resident according to the Part 820 Regulations.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Functions independently to perform history and physical examinations for program residents.</li><li>Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to resident’s needs.</li><li>Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.</li><li>Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including psychiatric stability if so certified to do so.</li><li>Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.</li><li>Facilitates the patient’s transition within and between level of care settings, e.g. admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.</li><li>Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.</li><li>Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.</li><li>Is available to review the medical assessments completed by medical staff in order to respond to immediate crises for residents.</li></ul>",
