    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><strong><u>THE ROLE</u></strong></p><p>The CNC HBM Machinist - 2<sup id=\"isPasted\">nd</sup> Shift will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with drilling, threading (tap &amp; thread mill), boring, etc, while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls (Tosnuc) including A+ experience with cogsdill contouring heads and the use of right-angle heads. The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. Must have basic hand &amp; measuring tools, indicators, etc.</p><p><strong><u>SKILLS REQUIRED&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>ORGANIZATIONAL - Leadership &amp; Organization&nbsp;</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Exceptional attention to details.</li><li>Display ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities.</li></ul><p>INTERPERSONAL - Experience Required</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently.</li><li>Ability to work and interact professionally and respectfully with coworkers.</li></ul><p>EFFICIENCY - Experience Preferred</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Ability to manage other projects and responsibilities that may be added at the company&rsquo;s discretion.</li><li>Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and resources effectively.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES</u></strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Perform finish machining operations including drilling, threading (tap &amp; thread mill), and boring while maintaining close tolerances.</li><li>Operate CNC Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM) with proficiency, specifically using Fanuc Controls (Tosnuc).</li><li>Utilize Cogsdill contouring heads and right-angle heads effectively during machining processes.</li><li>Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions accurately.</li><li>Understand and verify CNC programs to ensure compliance with specifications and machining requirements.</li><li>Conduct in-process inspection using basic hand and measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.</li><li>Ensure all machined components meet quality and specification standards across various industry applications.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company safety policies.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of jobs.</li><li>Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper machine operation and finished part quality.</li></ul><p><strong><u>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The above list of activities is not all inclusive but a general representation of the requirements of an RMS CNC HBM Machinist 2<sup id=\"isPasted\">nd&nbsp;</sup>Shift. This list is subject to change based on the needs of the company.</p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Job shop experience a plus.</li><li>5 plus years on Machinist experience and knowledge.</li></ul><p><strong><u>REQUIRED EDUCATION</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.</li></ul><p><strong><u>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</u></strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>This position will be based full-time in our RMS Tomball facility located in Houston, TX.&nbsp;</li><li>This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Additional hours, including evenings or weekends, may be required based on project needs.</li><li>This position is a 2<sup>nd</sup> Shift position. Shift start time and hours can vary based on production needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs. (50 lbs. with assistance), walk, climb, reach, kneel, crawl, and balance.</li><li>Must be able to use hands for assembly and tool usage.</li><li>While performing the duties of this position the employee will be required to stand, sit, bend and walk for significant portions of the shift&nbsp;</li><li>Must not have allergies or issues related to handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel.</li><li>This position can be required to participate in the company random or customer specific drug and alcohol screening and background check.</li><li>Able to understand, read, write, and speak English.</li><li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li><li>RMS Inc. may have government contracts that impose specific requirements on employees working on those projects. If an employee does not meet these requirements, they may be reassigned to a different location or be ineligible to work on certain assignments.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Work Environment:</p><p>While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
