Kennedy Krieger Institute offers more than 55 outpatient clinics, home and community programs, education, research, pediatric neurobehavioral and rehabilitation/feeding inpatient units and a day hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position is 40 hours per week, working Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits You Will Receive</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>· $10,500/year tuition advancement/reimbursement for employees earning undergrad and graduate degrees (pro-rated for 16-39 hours/week)</li>\n <li>· 50% college tuition grant for dependents up to $32,000/year for eligible employees budgeted 30-40 hours per week who have 5 years of service or more.</li>\n <li>· Student loan repayment for employees budgeted 30-40 hours per week ($100 per month up to $10,500)</li>\n <li>· Bonus incentive for a masters degree</li>\n <li>· Bonus incentive for nursing certification</li>\n <li>· Medical, Dental, Vision (active the month after you attend HR) most places make you wait 3-6 months)</li>\n <li>· Enhanced Mental Health Benefits</li>\n <li>· 401K Automatic 3% employer-funded “base contribution” with additional 1.5%-3% based on years of service</li>\n <li>· Sick and Vacation accrual upon first day of work</li>\n <li>· Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (Child Care Spending Account)</li>\n <li>$2,000 for each eligible child through the age of 6; $600 for each child age 7-10</li>\n <li>· Progressive Career Ladder with salary increase</li>\n <li>· Program to earn free CEUs</li>\n <li>· Free secure and monitored parking</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>· Coordinate care for complex patients with neurological conditions.</li>\n <li>· Function as a liaison between providers and families by reviewing treatment plans and provider recommendations and communicating through various channels in emergent and non-emergent situations.</li>\n <li>· Respond to patient phone calls and MyChart messages</li>\n <li>· Support multidisciplinary clinics by identifying patient goals for the visit, getting updates since last visit and preparing summaries for the team</li>\n <li>· Triage patients to keep clinic running smoothly.</li>\n <li>· Facilitate care for patients by collaborating with various departments, navigating access to healthcare services both in the community and within the organization.</li>\n <li>· Provide patient/family education</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 ½ years of hiring date.</li>\n <li>Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required and minimum of 1 year pediatric experience preferred.</li>\n <li>License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.</li>\n <li>Certification: Current CPR certification that included hands on skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Minimum pay range</h2>USD $71,518.00/Yr.\n<h2>Maximum pay range</h2>USD $127,585.95/Yr.",
