We offer competitive pay and benefits, opportunities for growth, and a supportive work culture.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>About the role:&nbsp;</strong>The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assisting and supporting the overall quality program, to ensure sitewide compliance in production, testing, and distribution of veterinary biologic products, within guidelines set internally and by regulatory agencies.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong>:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of process clarity with direct management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow, write, and troubleshoot SOPs in an efficient and accurate manner</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and interpret all information and documentation related to job functions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Cross train between In Process (IP) and Final Product (FP) teams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform tasks in a sterile and/or aseptic environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform qualitative /quantitative tests to ensure purity/sterility/safety of product and associated products</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interpret and manipulate details of department needs to plan for efficient material and time usage</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Rapidly and accurately adjust to department needs in response to unplanned circumstances</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete the necessary documentation, ensuring accurate and complete information</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in training others on methods and procedures, and be able to fill in for other members of the department if necessary</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform tests on animals and make accurate observations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains inventory of laboratory consumables</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist or lead investigation of laboratory error to identify root cause and prevent repeated errors</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean and maintain the aseptic environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work occasional weekends/holidays</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follows good laboratory practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist other departments as requested and complete other duties as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote safety in all areas of work, professional courtesy, and a positive work environment within the company</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications and Capabilities:</strong></p></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 35px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiar with computer systems and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite applications as well as Adobe Suite and other database applications of intermediate to advanced level</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Competency with mathematics through algebra and in the metric system.
