Are you interested in working in a <strong>mission-driven environment</strong> that supports adolescents and families during a critical time of growth and healing?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>New Haven Residential Treatment Center</strong> is currently hiring a <strong>Patient Transporter</strong> for our <strong>Spanish Fork campus</strong>. This role is essential to our daily operations and provides direct support to adolescent girls receiving residential mental health care. If you value <strong>safe driving, structure, professionalism, and meaningful work</strong>, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organization in <strong>Utah County</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Safe Transportation:</strong> Operate company passenger vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations (seat belts, speed limits, signals, crossings, following distance, etc.)</li>\n <li><strong>Vehicle Inspections:</strong> Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections, checking tires, lights, mirrors, wipers, A/C, heaters, warning indicators, and overall condition.</li>\n <li><strong>Compliance & Reporting:</strong> Complete required <strong>monthly JCAHO vehicle inspections</strong> and immediately report any malfunctions, damage, or incidents to the Site Supervisor.</li>\n <li><strong>Vehicle Maintenance:</strong> Maintain cleanliness of vehicles (interior and exterior), ensure vehicles are fueled, organized, and free of debris.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Conduct:</strong> Create a positive and respectful environment by greeting students, using names appropriately, and clearly communicating expectations.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety Interventions:</strong> If passenger behavior becomes unsafe, calmly stop the vehicle and address the situation before continuing transport.</li>\n <li><strong>Policy Adherence:</strong> Ensure students do not connect personal devices to vehicle systems (e.g., Bluetooth)</li>\n <li><strong>End-of-Shift Duties:</strong> Properly park vehicles and return all company property at the conclusion of each shift.</li>\n <li><strong>Additional Duties:</strong> Perform other related tasks as assigned to support campus operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Minimum age:</strong> 21 years or older</li>\n <li><strong>Clean DMV record</strong> and ability to pass the <strong>Embark driving test</strong> prior to operating company vehicles</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a <strong>drug screen and background check</strong></li>\n <li>Strong commitment to <strong>safety, professionalism, and reliability</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with students and staff</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Physical & Work Requirements</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to remain seated for up to <strong>90% of the shift</strong>, with occasional movement</li>\n <li>Capability to operate vehicles, computers, mobile devices, and navigation tools</li>\n <li>Ability to reach with hands and arms as needed</li>\n <li>Occasional lifting and moving of items (supplies, luggage) weighing up to <strong>50 pounds</strong> between vehicles, offices, and residential areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>New Haven is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
