The group has a significant presence with offices in New York, Houston, Toronto, Calgary, London, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires, among others. The group covers <b>Metals &amp; Mining, </b>Chemicals, Power &amp; Utilities, and Energy (including Alternative and Renewable Energy).&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>How you will Fulfill Your Potential&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>We are seeking a <b>Vice President</b> to join our <b>Metals &amp; Mining</b> group. Our Vice Presidents play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, leading our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities Include</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Creating and analyzing financial models, helping manage transaction processes and assisting in structuring transactions.</li>\n <li>Developing financial models, performing customized company valuation analysis and actively being involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances.</li>\n <li>Organizing and preparing presentations, which explain industry trends, assessing clients situations to provide the necessary financial advice and recommending strategies to meet client goals</li>\n <li>Coordinating teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; leading due diligence processes and actively participating in the negotiations of legal documentation, preparations of internal committee presentations and funding.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Skills and Experience&nbsp;</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree and several years of Natural Resources investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and seven years or more of Natural Resources investment banking or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>Strong track record of executing M&amp;A and financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role</li>\n <li>Two plus years experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates</li>\n <li>History of outstanding academic and professional achievement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Salary Range&nbsp;</b><br>\n  The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.</p>\n<p><b>Benefits&nbsp;</b><br>\n  Goldman Sachs is committed to providing our people with valuable and competitive benefits and wellness offerings, as it is a core part of providing a strong overall employee experience.
