Serves as the subject matter expert and applies gained knowledge to execute, maintain and improve systems, programs, or processes in the secondary classroom.\n</div>\n<div>\n <br>\n  &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n Instructors will teach diverse High School students career and technical education courses as outlined in the program of study.&nbsp; These courses are determined by the program approval which is approved by the Colorado Community College System.&nbsp; Instructors will teach students various careers related to the pathway they teach.&nbsp; Instruction will be real-world, hands-on, and project-based for authentic job related experience.&nbsp; Instructors are required to sponsor a Career &amp; Technical Student Organization (CTSO) and maintain (with assistance) an Advisory Board for all program changes and updates.&nbsp; In conjunction with the Career Development team, instructors will assist with facilitating internships, job shadows, mentorships, college visits, and overall connections with Industry Personnel in the field.&nbsp;<strong>Notice to Applicants: This vacancy is at a school designated as an “Innovation School.”&nbsp;For more information, please contact the school and/or DCTA.&nbsp;</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<p><span><strong>Construction Planning and Development (Heating &amp; Air Conditioning Service Technology) -</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>As a part of the Construction cluster, this pathway is designed to develop student skills in refrigeration, heating, electricity and duct design.&nbsp; The instructor will teach courses that align with the HVAC certificate.</span></p>\n<p><span>Must possess a CTE Authorization/License in the field of study according to CDE worksheets (</span><a href=\"https://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeprof/cteworksheets/architectureandconstruction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span><u>CTE Architecture and Construction Authorization</u></span></a><span>).</span></p>\n<p><span>May need to attend additional training for industry or curriculum during summer or school year.
