We promote from within, so we are looking for employees who want to stay with the company and grow into management roles.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Review job traveler received from the Shop Foreman for hinge specification and quantity.</li><li>Compare hinge specification to hinge drawing.</li><li>Verify the material to be used conforms to hinge specifications.</li><li>Place sheared blanks inside of defined gauging in the tool.</li><li>Cycle press to a pre-determined time to complete operation</li><li>Inspect first part of the operation and if necessary, adjusts tooling to conform hinge to print</li><li>Continue the operation for the lot per the Job Traveler</li><li>Inspect the hinges, first, periodically and last for conformity.</li><li>Tag lot, sign off, and move per job order or job traveler.</li><li>Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.</li><li>Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.&nbsp;</li><li>Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues.</li><li>Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.&nbsp;</li><li>Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Education and/or Experience:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months, press related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><ul type=\"square\"><li>At least one (1) year of work related experience required.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience welding is a bonus</li><li>Familiarity with precision measuring instruments</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Demands</u></strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
