Cryopak helps to maintain the integrity of our customer&rsquo;s products through the design, testing and manufacturing of packaging and materials for shipping cold chain products. We also provide the hardware and software for temperature verification along the distribution process.</p><p><strong>HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview &amp; Key Responsibilities):</strong></p><p>As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services, as well as performing routine building and facility maintenance duties.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.</li><li>Prepares machinery for scheduled production runs.</li><li>Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replace defective parts.</li><li>Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.</li><li>Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</li><li>Perform daily routine preventive maintenance and maintain accurate daily repair logs.</li><li>Track inventory machinery/equipment with their respective spare parts.</li><li>Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.</li><li>Training: May be requested to provide training to future machine operators in their perspective roles.</li><li>Any additional duties as needed</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications):</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or GED required; technical school, vocational training, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred.</li><li>Bilingual (English &amp; Spanish)</li><li>3-5 years&rsquo; of experience in a maintenance mechanic role, or related position, preferably in a manufacturing/packaging environment.</li><li>Knowledge with the following: Accepted practices and processes in the maintenance trades; electric motors, relays, PLCs, electro-mechanical equipment and systems found in machinery; servicing and maintenance of simple power, heating and cooling units.</li><li>Read and work from sketches, drawings and blueprints; understand occupational hazards and safety precautions of the machinery.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and understand product specifications.</li><li>Forklift experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. multiple times a day</li><li>Ability to perform basic mathematical operations.
