We are currently seeking a <strong>Quality Control Supervisor</strong> to join our plant operations team. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating Quality Control laboratory activities, supporting product quality and safety, and providing leadership to Quality Control Technicians while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.\n</div>\n<div>\n <br>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the Plant Quality Control laboratory according to direction from the Quality Control Manager.</li>\n  <li>Communicate immediately with Operators, Supervisors, and Management regarding any quality, safety, or compliance concerns.</li>\n  <li>Supervise Quality Control employees, including organizing work activities, assigning tasks, providing training, and overseeing performance in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.</li>\n  <li>Provide training to Quality Control staff on testing methods; ensure correct application, repeatability, and consistency of testing procedures.</li>\n  <li>Examine laboratory work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to established policies and procedures; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.</li>\n  <li>Assist the Quality Control Manager with special projects and initiatives to maintain high product quality.</li>\n  <li>Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and coordinate workflow to support operational needs.</li>\n  <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment, ensuring proper identification, storage, and handling of ingredients, supplies, and products.</li>\n  <li>Adhere to OSHA standards and MAPEI’s internal Environmental, Health &amp; Safety (EHS) programs; observe and enforce safe work practices and PPE requirements.</li>\n  <li>Support teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication across departments.</li>\n  <li>Perform assigned tasks in conformance with procedures and instructions established in the Business Management System (BMS) and in compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.</li>\n  <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong><u>What’s in it for you</u></strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Competitive annual base salary based on experience and qualifications.</li>\n  <li>FREE medical insurance for employees or the option of a highly competitive medical plan with minimal employee contributions.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>17 days of paid vacation and sick time annually (prorated in year one).&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>401(k) retirement plan with up to 6% company matching.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Excellent dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, and employer-paid life insurance.</li>\n  <li>Free telemedicine physician services.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Additional employee-focused benefits, including discounted home and auto insurance, supplemental life insurance, tuition reimbursement programs, and more.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Prior experience in a Quality Control laboratory or manufacturing environment; supervisory or lead experience preferred.</li>\n  <li>Strong working knowledge of testing methods, raw materials, product reactivity, and laboratory best practices.</li>\n  <li>College degree or technical education preferred.&nbsp; ​Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n  <li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and guide others.</li>\n  <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to analyze data and resolve complex issues.</li>\n  <li>Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools, including control charts, standard deviation, Cpk, and trend analysis.</li>\n  <li>Proficiency with general laboratory equipment.</li>\n  <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
