We feature innovations in joint replacement, robotic surgery, pelvic health for women, cancer care, intensive care for newborns, neurosurgery, medical care for children and more.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide clinical nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives.  Primary responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines.</li>\n <li>Assess patients for malnutrition.</li>\n <li>Order writing privileges per CMS guidelines, state regulation, and hospital policy.</li>\n <li>Manage resources in a cost-effective manner.</li>\n <li>Participate in performance improvement efforts.</li>\n <li>Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Completion of a Bachelor’s or graduate level degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent field from an accredited university/college required. </p></li>\n <li><p>Completion of a Dietitian Internship or Coordinated Program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) required. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:     </strong>    </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to patients, public, physicians and interdisciplinary health care team.  </li>\n <li>Able to function independently on assigned patient care units.  </li>\n <li>General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing and spreadsheet software.  </li>\n <li>Basic familiarity with computers preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. </li>\n <li>Licensed Dietitian by the Oregon Health Licensing Board of Licensed Dietitians required, or for practice in Washington State, Dietitian Certification through the Washington State Department of Health required.</li>\n <li><p>Must be eligible for registration at the time of hire and pass the registration examination within 6 months of hire (180 Days).</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $34.60 - USD $49.48 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
