    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Guerin Children’s and Cedars-Sinai Cancer is seeking a full time <strong>Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Physician Scientist&nbsp;</strong>to expand a new <strong>Cell Therapy &amp; Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)&nbsp;</strong>for children and adolescents. Cedars-Sinai Cancer boasts an established FACT-approved cell therapy and BMT program for adults, recognized for its strong basic, translational, and clinical research initiatives.&nbsp;We are seeking mid- to late-career professionals with proven leadership in program development, board certification in pediatric hematology-oncology, and eligibility for California medical licensure. Candidates should qualify for an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level at Cedars-Sinai Health Sciences University.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This is a unique opportunity to join a robust multidisciplinary pediatric hematology-oncology team within a nationally recognized clinical and research institution, <strong>ranked # 1 in California and a US News and World Report Honor Roll Hospital in 2025</strong>.&nbsp; The successful candidate will benefit from a highly collaborative ecosystem that includes the Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute, with advanced immunology platforms and state of the art GMP facilities that support cellular therapy development from bench to bedside.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s is a rapidly growing tertiary and quaternary pediatric center, made possible by a $100 million gift from the Shapell Guerin Family Foundation. With a 26-bed mixed subspecialty unit, 12-bed PICU, and 45-bed NICU, Guerin Children’s offers comprehensive care from birth through adolescence. The pediatric enterprise includes over 125 clinical and research faculty across all subspecialties. Collaborative opportunities abound with leading programs in Developmental Biology and innovative cell therapy initiatives in Neurology and Gastroenterology, helping to shape the future of precision medicine and pediatric care.</p>\n<p>Discovery is a core value to Cedars-Sinai’s mission.
