We’re looking for a dependable, organized team member who enjoys working with patients and collaborating with others. This role will split time between our two offices, located in Berkeley and Walnut Creek.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and maintain patient charts and documentation</li><li>Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations</li><li>Answer calls, respond to messages, and manage incoming faxes</li><li>Schedule procedures and coordinate with surgical centers</li><li>Review and communicate patient results using Epic EHR</li><li>Collect co-pays and assist with account balances</li><li>Provide occasional front desk or call center support</li><li>Assist with additional tasks as needed</li><li>Occasional overtime may be required</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience</li><li>Experience with Epic EHR required (GI experience a plus)</li><li>Familiarity with PPO, HMO, and Medicare insurance plans</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology</li><li>Ability to travel between Berkeley and Walnut Creek offices</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Pay range: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience</li><li>Full-time position (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Compensation Package</p><p>At BASS Medical Group, we understand that a comprehensive, high quality, and affordable health benefits program is now more essential than ever.
