This role supports resort operations through hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and project work—helping ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.</p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Perform engineering projects, guest calls, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC systems, and household appliances.</li><li>Maintain interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, flooring, and pools/spas.</li><li>Operate and maintain resort equipment, tools, and software systems effectively and safely.</li><li>Participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure availability of necessary materials.</li><li>Communicate professionally with guests and team members, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly.</li><li>Adhere to safety guidelines, identify potential hazards, and comply with all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and report maintenance needs.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences during maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment servicing.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.</li><li>Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs or interventions as needed.</li><li>Assist in the orientation and training of new engineering team members.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
