This role performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that buildings, equipment, and systems are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Facilities team and contributes to a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff and clients.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform day-to-day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks across agency locations.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair building systems including plumbing, HVAC, roofs, drains, and general equipment.</li><li>Complete carpentry, painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, and basic locksmith services.</li><li>Carry out landscaping and snow removal duties as needed.</li><li>Perform routine and specialized janitorial tasks to maintain facility cleanliness.</li><li>Use the electronic work order system to manage tasks and document completed work.</li><li>Assist with preventative maintenance schedules for facility systems.</li><li>Support interoffice mail delivery and coordination of packages between locations.</li><li>Work occasional evenings or weekends to complete time-sensitive projects.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>Perform additional maintenance-related duties or special projects as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>1–2 years of maintenance or related experience preferred.</li><li>Valid driver’s license required.</li><li>General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.</li><li>Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Work for Us?</strong></p><p>We are looking for collaborative, curious individuals with a “can do” mentality to join our team of compassionate employees!
