Description

Summary : A sealcoating general laborer helps apply a protective coating to asphalt surfaces like driveways and parking lots. This role is physically demanding and typically seasonal, with work often performed in hot outdoor conditions. Responsibilities : Clean and prepare asphalt surfaces before applying sealcoat Operate spray equipment, squeegees, and other tools Use blowers and brooms to remove debris from surfaces Direct traffic or place safety cones and signs when working roadside Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Assist with crack filling, line striping, or other asphalt maintenance tasks Work Schedule Often early morning starts and long days during the season Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods Comfortable working in hot weather and outdoors Valid driver’s license often preferred Experience in construction or paving is a plus but not required Willingness to travel locally to job sites
