As we grow, we value people ready to grow a career that makes an impact far beyond just our daily workplace.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>As an <strong>Agricultural Equipment Mechanic</strong>, your more typical responsibilities will include:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;construction on various types of heavy equipment, specifically farm/large agricultural equipment</li>\r\n\t<li>Utilizing problem-solving resources such as DTAC, technical manuals, personal skills, and experience in order to perform diagnosis of equipment problems</li>\r\n\t<li>Requesting proper parts&nbsp;needed for repair through the parts department and keeping track of machine status</li>\r\n\t<li>Planning and&nbsp;executing&nbsp;the sequence of repairs</li>\r\n\t<li>Conducting engine underhauls, head gaskets, rear axle replacement, hydraulic valves and pumps, rock shafts, and transmission repairs</li>\r\n\t<li>Preparing&nbsp;accurate inspection and service reports, and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;other records as required</li>\r\n\t<li>Following&nbsp;company policies and government regulations</li>\r\n\t<li>Keeping work areas clean and orderly, while complying with company safety standards&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>As an <strong>Agricultural Equipment Mechanic</strong>, you will be&nbsp;working out at customer locations (with occasional work required outside in&nbsp;varying weather conditions) to repair, conduct maintenance, and address any customer concerns or questions regarding equipment.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong> Include:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School diploma or equivalent experience.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>3-5 years or more of recent experience as a field mechanic working on large ag/farm equipment and diesel engines. Recent experience working on John Deere equipment is strongly preferred.</strong></li>\r\n\t<li>Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of service department operations, heavy equipment technology department operations, and heavy equipment technology in general.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record is preferred</strong></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>As our ideal candidate, you&#39;ll take responsibility to safely execute the work while&nbsp;demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
