Direct Support Professional’s are instrumental in providing these learning opportunities and taking small groups into the community. We offer free training, great team atmosphere where your contributions are noticed and appreciated, career growth and excellent work life balance!  This will be the hardest you will ever love! </span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Duties/Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Help individuals obtain and maintain daily living skills and work toward their fullest potential to foster independence. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide direct care services to adults with developmental disabilities including assistance with activities of daily living, toileting and feeding. Provide hands-on support for therapeutic activities.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Work with individuals in small groups to develop skills and engage them in meaningful activities. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ensure health, safety and welfare of people according to procedures, individualized plans and protocols. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Help develop relationships with members of the community through a variety of activities and classes. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Effective communications with team and collaborating on classes, community activities and Friday Fun Day activities. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide transportation using FRIENDS of Broomfield fleet of mini buses and vans. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Work productively and cooperatively as a member of a team. </span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Complete daily documentation and progress notes. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">High school diploma or equivalent required.
