    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The 3rd shift Facilities Maintenance Technician II will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation tasks both on the facilities, physical plant equipment, as well as production equipment, and machinery. This position requires demonstration of competency for all activities that either directly or indirectly affect product safety and quality.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to all company and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations.</li>\n <li>Perform safety and environmental inspections, as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li>\n <li>Perform assigned PM and PdM tasks.</li>\n <li>Utilization of predictive maintenance tools (ultrasonic, vibration analysis, laser alignment).</li>\n <li>Proactively look for equipment trends, root causes and variances. Develop action plans for and implement improvements.</li>\n <li>Perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment.</li>\n <li>Quickly respond to and correct equipment mechanical and electrical issues.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot, repair and replace defective/worn equipment parts, control devices, motors, belts, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge, and  identification of gearboxes, motors, pulleys, gears</li>\n <li>Proficient knowledge and identification of belts, bearings, seals, etc.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot pneumatic systems.</li>\n <li>Perform painting, carpentry, sheetrock and flooring repairs.</li>\n <li>Perform meeting room set-up and teardown (A/V equipment operation, maintenance, repair).</li>\n <li>Perform facility lighting change-outs (interior, exterior).</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of boilers and steam-related components.</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of environmental control room systems/operation/control.</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of dust extraction systems (PMs, repairs).</li>\n <li>Perform lab equipment installation, PMs, calibration, and repairs.</li>\n <li>Solid knowledge and understanding of PLC and related controls.</li>\n <li>High proficiency at performing equipment changeovers.</li>\n <li>Solid knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with variable frequency drives (VFD).</li>\n <li>Operate machine shop equipment, lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.</li>\n <li>Proficient in use of welding equipment – gas/MIG/TIG.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Positive attitude, willingness, and desire to learn.</li>\n <li>Additional duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>This position will require the employee to operate a motorized powered lift i.e. Forklift, Scissor lift, one man lift, etc. A MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) will determine an employee’s eligibility to operate these lifts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Grade level movement dependent on demonstrated equipment knowledge, tracked via Maintenance Training Matrix.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:</strong></p>\n<p>Are you ready to be part of an outstanding Maintenance team?
