Lynn Electronics is actively recruiting an energetic, high-potential Fiber Assembler Associate to join our growing team.  We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.  As an assembler Associate, you will be responsible for assemblies to specifications and quality requirements to prepare cables.  This is a full time, first shift position .  The hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Responsibilities of the Assembler Associate Include: Prepare, terminate, polish and test fiber cable assemblies according to customer specifications. Prepare different types of cables: armored and non-armored cables, outside plant cables, loose tube, tight buffer micro distribution and others per customer’s request. Polish and test a variety of fiber connectors: LC, LC/APC, SC/SCAPC, ST, MTP/MPO, MTRJ, F. Ability to read and understand customer’s technical drawings. Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders. Maintain a clean work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Desired Experience: High School Education or GED 1-3+ years related assembling experience in fiber cable assembly preferred but willing to train  Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies Attention to detail. Candidates must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English, possess effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor.  You should be punctual and reliable as this is a very important support position.
